How do I unlock new territories?

As you play through the game new territories will become available for the in-game purchase.
In order to unlock new territories you need to tap the lock icon on the desired territory and check the requirements. If the requirments are met then tap the "expand" button.

If you encountered the problem with your territories expansion, then you should be able to do at least one of the following:
- rearrange or rotate buildings so that you can build another one;
- unpack previously built buildings, as they do not count towards the total number of buildings.
