Left or right hand?

There are modes for both left-handed and right-handed players in the game, you can switch between them them in the game's Settings. If you are right-handed your rack menu icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen while in the game, and your ball will hook from the right side of the lane to the left side. If you are a leftie, the rack menu icon will appear in the bottom left corner and your ball will hook from left to right.
